Đinđić killer transferred to maximum-security prison
Former JSO unit member Zvezdan Jovanović has been transferred from the Belgrade District Prison to the Zabela prison in eastern Serbia.

Former JSO unit member Zvezdan Jovanovic has been transferred from the Belgrade District Prison to the Zabela prison in eastern Serbia. Jovanovic was found guilty of shooting and killing Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic on March 12, 2003, and sentenced to 40 years in prison. Djindjic killer transferred to maximum-security prison Other than the former members of the dissolved Special Operations Unit (JSO), Zemun Clan member Nikola Bajic has also been transferred to a special sector of the Pozarevac-based maximum-security facility to serve his 35-year sentence. The transfer of Jovanovic and Bajic was conducted by security officials of the Administration for Executing Criminal Sanctions together with the MUP Gendarmerie.
