I feel sorry for real people who suffer and are suppressed by shameful overly power-oriented government systems.
China, North Korea, Iran, Russia, Eritrea, Syria, Myanmar, Venezuela spring to mind but there are also many more.

I lived through the longest, harshest lockdowns and curfews here in Melbourne. I know exactly how much a dictator our government was and still is.

You are another who listens to just CNN. And CNN is the mouthpiece of Washington.
China for the past 20/25 years has made great strides. As many as 600 million people have been brought into the middle class. Their economy is excellent and outstripping America and the EU. And all this was done with hard work and without invading other nations and stealing resources. Amazing eh...? You and the USA dont like China simply because they are outperforming you. Fact.
As for Russia, do you know Putin asked for Russia to join the EU and was told to get lost. Fact. Putin also asked to join forces with nato. Again he was told to get lost. Fact. By the way, Putins approval rating is at over 80%. Didnt know that Bob...?? Yes its true.
As for Venezuela, the only reason they have had it tough is because they wont let US oil and energy gians in to exploit thdm. So the US has had sanctions on Venezuela for many years. The US is a bully and manipulator. But at last Russia stood up to them. And so will China. Great to see America, the worlds bully, retreat and meet its match.
