Belgrade negotiating team chief Borislav Stefanovic stated on Saturday, that it is completely irresponsible to rattle arms under the given circumstances. He commented on deployment of Kosovo police special unit ROSU to southern Kosovska Mitrovica. Pristina’s aggressive approach not surprising – team chief Stefanovic told reporters that one should not wonder at such an aggressive policy and added that the key to resolving the situation was in investing intense efforts in cooperation with the international community which could have influence on Pristina, and not in calls to Pristina to avoid such steps. According to the team head, Serbia will do all it can to prevent the current situation in northern Kosovo from becoming even more inflamed and that talks to this end would be held in the days to come.
