Jeremić meets with Solana's envoy

FM Vuk Jeremic on Monday in Belgrade met with EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana's personal envoy Peter Sorensen. They discussed the format and dynamics of the future talks on the implementation of the UN six-point plan for Kosovo, a Ministry of Foreign Affairs statement said this evening. The media last week quoted unnamed sources to report that Jeremic treated Sorensen inappropriately during a meeting in Belgrade with UNMIK chief Lamberto Zannier. The newspapers also said that the EU would lodge a protest note over the incident – something that official Brussels has denied.
