Bulgarian police Monday arrested Budimir Kujovic on suspicion that he organized heroin smuggling. Kujovic, a Serbian national, had forged IDs on him as he was arrested in a Plovdiv hotel. Suspected Serbian heroin boss arrested Bulgarian police say he tried to smuggle 60 kilograms of heroin. Kujovic is considered to be the mastermind behind a narcotics smuggling network and faces jail time of up to 20 years if convicted on the charges. He was already arrested once on 2002 in the village of Divotno, near Pernik, Bulgaria, and charged with organizing a synthetic drugs producting factory, but a court acquitted him due to lack of evidence.
