Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaci says there are no parallel Serb institutions in Kosovo. He added that the takeover of the municipal building in Strpce was an illegal “aspiration on the part of illusionists.” Thaci in swipe at “illusionist aspirations” “We will continue to be committed to the rule of law and order,” Thaci told Pristina daily Koha Ditore. The daily points out that UNMIK, which still has a high level of authority in Kosovo, has stated that it will not use force to stop Strpce Municipal President Zvonko Mihajlovic from leaving the municipal building. UNMIK has also stated that it will not communicate with those elected at the May 11 ballot, whereas in practice, reports indicate otherwise, the daily writes.
