BELGRADE There have been speculations that a draft platform on Kosovo most likely will not arrive in the government and parliament for adoption, a daily writes. According to daily Danas, the government’s official stance on the platform is still unknown. Daily: Govt., parliament may not vote on platform Bearing in mind PM Ivica Dacic’s statement that the platform “is not the Bible” and “something that needs to be implemented”, the question is on what issues the state leadership confirmed its “unity” last Monday, the daily writes. Danas has learnt that President Nikolic “distanced himself“ from the prime minister's negotiating activities in Brussels during his meetings with leaders of opposition parties. The daily has learnt at the government headquarters that it is still uncertain whether the government would even adopt the document. In that case, the platform would be sent to parliament as a proposal of the president. Nikolic’s cabinet has not said who would propose the document, the government or the president. The daily has unofficially learnt that the document will be sent to parliament once political consensus has been reached, which includes the government’s support. Serbian parliament's Committee on Kosovo Chairman Milovan Drecun claims that there are no differences in the ruling coalition and that the “proposed platform needs to be harmonized”. Nikolic presented the platform to representatives of Kosovo Serbs on Friday. Danas
