A government official said today that the EU mission in Kosovo "does not have license to operate". Milivoje Mihajlovic, who heads the government Media Cooperation Office, told Jagodina's Palma Plus television that "EULEX is a company without a license to work, and that license is given by the United Nations". "EULEX has no license to operate" Mihajlovic also said that Serbia respects international law and that the country "does not wish to have someone present in Kosovo circumventing that law, regardless of who sends them", even, in his words, "the super-organized company such as the European Union". "I think that, even if EULEX gets its license from the UN, this mission will be present only in the Albanian-populated areas," he concluded.
