Croatia, Kosovo sign Interim Free Trade Agreement

ZAGREB -- An Interim Free Trade Agreement between Croatia and UNMIK was signed in Zagreb on Thursday.

Croatian Economy Minister Branko Vukelić and Paul Acda from UNMIK signed the agreement, due to become effective as of November.

Bujar Dugolji, Minister of Trade and Industry, initialed the document on the behalf of the Kosovo Government.

The trade exchange between Croatia and Kosovo in the first 2006 semester amounted to 55.4 million euros.

The export operations from Croatia to Kosovo totaled 55.3 million euros, while Kosovo exported 107,000 euros worth of goods to Croatia.
