Since the court has accepted the deal, the two sisters will not be tried, but will simply receive the sentences they agreed to. Spokesperson for the prosecutor's office Tomo Zoric explained previously that the EUR 1.5mn fine would get the government three times more than what it had lost through some form of tax evasion. The indictment, which says that Raznatovic stole 4mn German marks and over USD 3mn, refers to Obilic's losses, Zoric noted, adding that the club was free to file charges against Raznatovic and demand compensation. However, the football club officials have stated that they will not do so. The club was originally owned by the singer's late husband, Zeljko Raznatovic aka Arkan.
