Chief Hague Prosecutor Serge Brammertz says "there is no reason not to believe" that Ratko Mladic is in Serbia. He told the daily Vecerenje Novosti in an interview that the former head of the Bosnian Serb Army, VRS, and one of the four Hague indictees still at large, has a network of helpers in Serbia, was last seen there, while his family members live in the country. Mladic likely in Serbia, Brammertz says Brammertz also said that Belgrade "can get to the other three fugitives" – Radovan Karadzic, Stojan Zupljanin and Goran Hadzic. "During the meetings in Belgrade we received detailed information about a recent raid that confirms Zupljanin was in Serbia," he told the newspaper. As for the acquittal of Kosovo Albanian Ramush Haradinaj, Brammertz said he was not satisfied with the ruling "as a prosecutor", since the judgment passed "does not reflect the perception of the factual basis of the case", and that for this reason, his office decided to appeal.
