Serbian PM Ivica Dačić says he will not go to Brussels for negotiations with Priština authorities unless a monument to a terror group in the south is removed.

BELGRADE Serbian PM Ivica Dacic says he will not go to Brussels for negotiations with Pristina authorities unless a monument to a terror group in the south is removed. He stated that a deadline for the removal of the memorial plaque honoring members of the so-called Liberation Army of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja (UCPMB) in the southern town of Presevo was January 17. “No talks until terror group monument is removed” “Albanians will remove the monument themselves and if they cannot or do not want to do it the government will. I will not go to Brussels until the monument is removed,” Dacic told daily Blic. The prime minister stressed that “Serbian citizens, Albanians, have until January 17 to remove the monument to UCPMB members killed in attacks on the police and army in 2000 and 2001”.
