State auditors have begun reviewing 2009 government spending and two more ministries, labor and education, Beta reprots. This is accroding to State Auditing Institution senior official Radoslav Sretenovic, who spoke on Wednesday. Auditors checking two ministries Sretenovic told the news agency that, according to the initial plan, three ministries – infrastructure, youth and sports and agriculture – were supposed to be audited. He went on to say that he expects the examination of public companies' financial reports for 2009 to start by September, which is the EU's condition for approving IPA funding. "The condition for beginning audits of public companies is the employment of more auditors after the adoption of amendments to the Law on the State Auditing Institution," Sretenovic said.

Sretenović told the news agency that, according to the initial plan, three ministries – infrastructure, youth and sports and agriculture – were supposed to be audited.
