Ruling G17 Plus party official Suzana Grubjesic says Health Minister Tomica Milosavljevic would undergo his surgery in Munich. This, Grubjesic explained, came after he consulted with top neurosurgeons of Serbia. Milosavljevic, also a G17 Plus official, has held the health portfolio in three cabinets since 2002. “It will be long until literally every operation will be done in Serbia and until people will not have to go abroad,” said Grubjesic. Grubjesic's statement came as a reaction to the reports in today's newspapers, criticizing the departure of the health minister for Germany, where he would undergo surgery for his disc hernia. Serbian doctors, newspapers say, “believe” this has already become a routine procedure in the country.
