Convictions in racist assault case

The District Court in Cacak has found four men guilty of insulting and assaulting a black footballer from Ghana, Solomon Opoku. 21-year-olds Darko Obrenovic, Milan Milosavljevic and Nikola Cvetkovic and 24-year-old Mladen Ikonic were sentenced to a total of 4.5 years in prison after being found guilty of racially abusing Opoku outside the Borac Cacak ground after a match between Borac and Bezanija on March 7.
