Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic says the new government that will be formed in the coming days will not alter the state’s foreign policy. Addressing graduates at the Diplomatic Academy yesterday, Jeremic said that Serbian diplomacy faced an uphill battle, and that he was glad that they, as the best generation, would be there to take part. Jeremic: No change in foreign policy “The year ahead of us is going to be extremely tricky. I don’t want to frighten anyone, but Serbian diplomacy face a really tough job, but it’s going to be easier for us because now you’re here with us,“ said the foreign minister. Serbian foreign policy priorities remain the same, he said, stating that Serbia would continue its battle to preserve its territorial integrity and sovereignty, speed up European integration, and strengthen regional cooperation. Jeremic said that Serbia’s three foreign policy pillars would be Brussels, Moscow, and Washington. 57 students enrolled in the 2006/2007 generation at the Diplomatic Academy, of whom 56 have graduated.
