Milorad Cavic won the gold medal in the 100m butterfly at the European Short-Course Championships in Debrecen, Hungary The Serb, who also holds the European 100m record, won in a time of 50.53 seconds, thus retaining his title. Serbian swimmer claims European gold Russian Yevgeny Korotishkin won silver, missing out by six one-hundredths of a second. Slovenia’s Petar Mankoc claimed the bronze with a time of 50.62 seconds. Serbia’s other representative Ivan Lendjer finished sixth in 51.7 seconds.
