Orbán told the world: "We are not changing anything"

"We will not do anything that would change our border defense practices. We will continue those practices exactly as we have done so far, even if the European Court has told us to change them. We will not change them and we will not allow anyone to do that," Orbán said, as MTI reports.

At a press conference, Hungarian Prime Minister said that the government had weighed all possibilities, following the decision of the Constitutional Court, in connection with the ruling of the European Court of Justice, which found that Hungarian legislation on rules and practices in transit zones on the border with Serbia violates EU rules on asylum and return.

In a decision earlier in December, Hungary's Constitutional Court reaffirmed that the government must defend Hungary's identity, noting that if European Union institutions do not effectively pursue shared competencies, Hungarian authorities can enforce them, as well as the relationship between migration and human dignity must be examined from the perspective of the existing historical population of the country, reminds MTI.
