An influential Iranian MP Parviz Sorouri has said that his country has arrested 12 CIA agents, Iranian state news agency IRNA has reported. Sorouri, who sits on the powerful Foreign Policy and National Security Committee, said the arrested spies were working together with Mossad and other intelligence agencies in the region in order to damage Iran's security, military and nuclear sectors. 12 alleged CIA agents arrested in Iran “The U.S. and Zionist regime's espionage apparatuses were trying to damage Iran both from inside and outside with a heavy blow, using regional intelligence services," he stressed. “Fortunately, with swift reaction by the Iranian intelligence department, the actions failed to bear fruit," Sorouri added.
