Two explosions minutes apart in the northwest Pakistani city of Peshawar have killed 34 people and injured nearly 100. The blasts, at least one of which was caused by a suicide bomber, appear to have been timed to cause the highest number of casualties by luring rescuers to the scene of a smaller blast before a second, much larger bomb exploded. No group claimed responsibility, but the Pakistani Taliban has vowed revenge for the U.S. military raid in May that killed Osama bin Laden.
