Two people killed, 25 injured in highway accident
A large-scale accident happened on Sunday on the Batrovci-Belgrade highway between Pećinci and Šimanovci, involving 38 vehicles and leaving two dead.

BELGRADE A large-scale accident happened on Sunday on the Batrovci-Belgrade highway between Pecinci and Simanovci, involving 38 vehicles and leaving two dead. This has been announced by the Serbian Interior Ministry. Two people killed, 25 injured in highway accident The accident occurred in conditions of severely reduced visibility caused by dense fog in that area. According to the latest information, two people were killed and 25 injured, two of which suffered serious injuries. Four children are among the injured. All the injured were cared for at hospitals around Belgrade. State Secretary for the Interior Vanja Vukic, police chief Milorad Veljovic and Minister of Transport Aleksandar Antic visited the location of the accident. Traffic was brought back to normal after the police had investigated the scene.
