Four men traveling in a car near the town of Zajecar in eastern Serbia died when their vehicle swerved off the road and into a canal. The accident happened over the weekend but the car and the bodies were discovered in the 10-meter deep canal on Monday. 4 dead as car plunges into canal The driver of the car survived the crash. The victims were men in their 20s and 30s, all residents of the village of Brusnik. The accident happened as the five were traveling from the village patron saint day celebrations, to the nearby village where they hoped to attend a dance. But they managed to progress only several hundred meters before their car plunged into the canal. The driver of the car survived the crash.The victims were men in their 20s and 30s, all residents of the village of Brusnik.
