The General Assembly of the European Olympic Committees (EOC) has started in Belgrade on Friday. The meeting has gathered delegates from 49 countries and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Jacques Rogge. European Olympic Committees meet Serbian Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic opened the gathering. Besides Rogge, the President of the Serbian Olympic Committee (OKS) Vlade Divac, EOC President Patrick Hickey and Serbia's Minister of Youth and Sport Snezana Samardzic-Markovic will also address the delegates. Representatives of Pyeongchang, South Korea, Munich, Germany and Annecy, France, the candidate cities for the 2018 Winter Olympics, will later Friday present their bids. The central celebration of 100 years of the Olympic movement in Serbia and a gala dinner will be held on Friday evening at the City Assembly of Belgrade. The gathering in Belgrade today (Beta)
