Serbia's national football squad has beaten Romania 3-2 (2-0) in an away game played in Constanta. The two teams are competing in World Cup Group 7 qualifiers. Stoica also found the net for his team, as did Ciprian Marica. Serbia now tops the group table with 12 points from five matches, while the Romanians have only four points from as many games played. The match was attended by Romanian President Traian Basescu and his Serbian counterpart Boris Tadic. Serbia will continue with the bid to qualify for the World Cup playing Austria in Belgrade on June 6, and the Faroe Islands in an away game four days later.
