Serbia's 7.5 million residents own 9.12 million active cell phone numbers, a daily writes. Each day, they send 30 million text messages, and spend 20 million minutes talking on the phone, which amounts to 14,000 days, Vecernje Novosti newspaper says in a report today. Serbia has more "cell phone cards than people" This ranks Serbia in the European top ten list when it comes to cell phone use, right next to Portugal, the United Kingdom and Estonia, still, far down the list from the likes of Greece and Italy. But Serbians use their cell phones much less than the undisputed world leaders – Montenegrins.
