The Belgrade dailies today lead with the ongoing stalemate in parliament which has now lasted three days. Also in the spotlight are an alleged plot to liberate former Special Operations Unit (JSO) commander Milorad Ulemek, and the appointment of a new security services (BIA) director. Press: Parliamentary impasse; Ulemek escape attempt BLIC – The daily claims that were crude prices to retain their low level for another week, petrol prices in Serbia could fall RSD 20 in “Fuel too expensive because of NIS monopoly.” Water-polo player Danilo Ikodinovic’s condition is gradually improving in “Danilo awake and remembers accident”.
