The Belgrade hotel “Mr. President” offers an apartment with a Adolf Hitler-related theme. The hotel also offers rooms where you can have tea with Margret Thatcher, surf the Internet with George Washington and soak in the Jacuzzi in the company of Josip Broz Tito. Belgrade hotel offers Hitler-themed room However, the shocking decision of the hotel administration to dedicate one apartment to the Nazi leader who will be remembered as the worst criminal in human history has been met with public disdain. However, the hotel believes that the public has overreacted and have stated that there has been the most interest shown for the Hitler room. Even though he said that he would give a statement to B92 regarding the issue, hotel owner Dusan Zabunovic refused to in the end. However, in a statement given to daily Blic earlier, he said that Hitler was a part of history and a man who marked an epoch, which is the reason why his picture is featured in the hotel. Zabunovic said that if the reactions of the public continue to be negative, the picture will be removed. In Serbia, despite public outrage, not much can be done to punish the hotel for such a gesture. In Europe, however, pictures of the Nazi leader and related symbols are strictly prohibited. No such regulations exist in Serbia.
