16 human trafficking cases in 2007

Serbian police (MUP) discovered 33 human trafficking cases in 2006, while there were 16 cases since the start of this year.

16 human trafficking cases in 2007

Of the total number of the human trafficking victims, 24 were Serbian nationals, two came from Moldavia and Bosnia and one from Romania, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Albania and Macedonia, Lapčević said.

The seminar was organized by the Greek and Serbian sections of the International Police Association, and was attended by 200 police officers.

The International Police Association gathers 300,000 members from police forces in over 60 countries worldwide.
