Serbia, Croatia have "multilayered relations" The Croatian minister said that he had heard plenty of interesting information about the way Serbia was implementing reforms. “It has Croatia’s full support in that, but it is of course most important what Serbia itself will do,” he said and added that Croatia “can help with its experience, knowledge and everything we have learned in the negotiating process”. “Serbia needs to go through the same reforms Croatia went through all those years. The negotiating process is very complicated and demanding and we are here to help you with all the information you need, advice, experience and we can achieve good cooperation in that department,” Jandrokovic pointed out. When asked to comment on relations between the two countries bearing in mind reactions from both Belgrade and Zagreb to certain officials’ statements, the Croat minister said that “relations between Serbia and Croatia are multilayered”. “They have their own dynamics which is positive and there are ups and downs there but if we were to speak about the relations today we would have to say that they are better today than they used to be before,” he stressed. “We have determined several important fields in which we can have excellent cooperation, from economic and cultural cooperation to cooperation within the EU and Croatian side is very interested in making relations high-quality and purposeful,” Jandrokovic concluded.
