The interrogation of 14 people arrested under the suspicion of having ties with Darko Saric's cocaine smuggling group has been completed in Ljubljana. Nine of the suspects have been taken into custody while three are on house arrested and two were set free, according to local television. Suspected Saric group members interrogated Police and court officials have written hundreds of pages based on searches conducted of 30 homes and apartments of the suspects, according to local media. However, the searches were not that successful, since only three weapons, a small amount of ammunition, and 180 grams of cocaine and heroin were seized. The Slovenian group, which was reportedly led by one of the suspects Dragan Tosic, took care of the transport of the drugs to Western Europe, especially to Spain and Great Britain, according to media. Serbian organized crime prosecutor Miljko Radisavljevic said earlier that the group is suspected of having ties with Saric, who is suspected of smuggling over two tons of cocaine from South America. The Balkan Warrior operation resulted in 2.5 tons of cocaine being seized in October 2009 and actions have continued since in an effort to uncover the entire network of organized crime related to the group.
