Artillery logbooks that the Hague Tribunal is demanding from Croatia may be among the documents found in the flat of a retired military officer, say the media. During a search of Emil Crncec’s flat the police found three boxes of various documents about Operations Blaze, Storm and Mistral. "Croatian artillery logs found?" It is thought that they may include the so-called artillery logbooks, which the Hague Tribunal is seeking from Croatia, reports daily Jutarnji list. In any case, these documents should not be in the possession of this former member of the Croatian armed forces. Crncec was arrested on Monday together with seven other former members of the 7th Guards Brigade on suspicion of committing war crimes against Serb prisoners-of-war on September 9, 1995 in the village of Mlinista near Glamoc, during the Mistral military operation. Crncec retired about ten days ago from his post as deputy head of the operations and training department.
