He said the decision was made "in order to allow the voice of the authentic national and democratic opposition to be heard in the Assembly, and among the public."

According to Vukadinovic, other members will include former DSS leader Sanda Raskovic-Ivic, Slavisa Ristic, and "a group of intellectuals who have been present in the public political and intellectual life for many years."

Asked "how they planned to take part in the elections announced for next year," Raskovic-Ivic said the movement is in favor of creating "a broader opposition bloc that would take an uncompromising stance toward the ruling regime."

In late October, the DSS Presidency removed Raskovic-Ivic from the register of the party's members, but decided against the same move when it came to Slavisa Ristic.

Raskovic-Ivic stepped down as DSS leader earlier in the year after the party forged coalitions at the local level with the ruling SNS, and in this way, according to her, "betrayed its voters."
