"Should I be attacking him now because he believes in Europe? I can't do that," said Canak.

Asked whether cooperation with Vucic was on the cards, the LSV leader said he and his coalition partners "have no intention of either cooperating, or not cooperating with anyone."

"Our intention is to realize our program," Canak said.

He also "stressed that Aleksandar Vucic did not order his murder," adding that "his first question" would be "how come Mihalj Kertes did not end up in jail after ordering a high-ranking SPS cadre from Novi Sad in 1999 to find someone to liquidate me."

As for his alliance with Boris Tadic and Cedomir Jovanovic, Canak said he chose that list because he "knows exactly their political differences, and the limits of such cooperation."
