BELGRADE Protesters gathered in front of the Serbian parliament on Friday morning ahead of a debate on the dialogue with Pristina and an agreement reached last week. Police have blocked parliament’s back entrance. Protesters rally ahead of parliamentary debate The protesters are chanting “Kosovo is Serbia”. Activists and supporters of right-wing movements Nasi, Dveri, Zavetnici and Obraz organized the protest. They are reading names of Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), United Regions of Serbia (URS), Democratic Party (DS), Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), Party of United Pensioners of Serbia (PUPS) and Serbian Renewal Movement (SPO) MPs and calling them traitors. B92 has learned that two protests are scheduled for today but they cannot be held in front of the parliament while the session is underway. The debate on the government’s report on the dialogue with Pristina started around 11:00 CET. Parliament Speaker Nebojsa Stefanovic told Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) that MPs would vote on the report at the end of the day. The government on Monday adopted the report on the dialogue with the Pristina interim institutions, including the process of the implementation of the agreements that have been reached. The report also includes the 15-point agreement that was initialed by Serbian and Kosovo PMs Ivica Dacic and Hashim Thaci on April 19. (Beta) B92 Beta
