Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) acting leader Aleksandar Vucic says he has had lengthy talks with U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Philip Reeker. However, he said that he preferred not to specify the contents of the talks. SNS acting leader “keeps to agreement with U.S. official" “I talked with Reeker for one hour and 40 minutes, but I cannot say anything about the contents of the talks, as that is the deal, and I will keep to it,” Vucic told journalists on Wednesday, specifying that it was the gentleman's agreement. When asked whether the talks with Reeker confirmed the claims of certain Belgrade media that the U.S. possibly has a problem with the fact that Ivica Dacic had been granted the mandate to form a new Serbian government, the SNS acting leader said he could not comment on that. “I cannot say anything, except that I met with Reeker, after which I asked for a meeting with Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic,” he explained. Asked to specify the contents of talks with Nikolic, who visited the SNS headquarters before the meeting between the delegations of the SNS and United Regions of Serbia (URS), Vucic only said that he had had two meetings with the president. Reeker came to an official visit to Belgrade on Tuesday and met with leader of SNS, Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS), Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) and United Regions of Serbia (URS). He is supposed to meet with Democratic Party (DS) leader Boris Tadic today. Aleksandar Vucic (Tanjug, file) Tanjug
