Serbia's police (MUP) have increased the level of security provided for western diplomatic and consular offices located in the country. The move comes after it was announced in Washington that American troops had killed al Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden. Serbia increases security of foreign embassies Police Director Milorad Veljovic told Tanjug news agency in Belgrade on Monday that the newly introduced measures primarily concerned the embassies of the United States, Britain, France and Germany. Police Director Milorad Veljović told Tanjug news agency in Belgrade on Monday that the newly introduced measures primarily concerned the embassies of the United States, Britain, France and Germany.
