The Italian parliament in Rome has ratified the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA) between the European Union (EU) and Serbia. This was confirmed by the Italian embassy in Belgrade today. Italy ratifies Serbian SAA Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini stated, after the vote on the SAA ratification in the Italian Senate on Tuesday, that Serbia's progress in the EU integration process was "one of the main goals of Italy's foreign policy regarding the Western Balkans".
