67 pct of Czechs say they favor EU enlargement to include the Western Balkans countries. The Czech EU presidency poll is conducted on a regular weekly basis. Most Czechs back W. Balkans in EU 31 pct of those interviewed are against the idea, while two percent had no position on the issue. Prague has said that its presidency's priority is the enlargement, Beta news agency reports. Czech PM Mirek Topolanek was in Macedonia and Montenegro recently to say that the global economic meltdown did not prompt his country to drop plans to accelerate the Western Balkans' EU integration – "or at least, to make sure it does not slow down". Topolanek will arrive in Belgrade in a month's time with the same message, and he will also travel to Pristina.
