Budget and no-confidence motion at next session

Parliamentary Speaker Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic said that the session on the budget and no-confidence motion will start after the one currently in progress. However, Djukic-Dejanovic said that she is not sure if MPs will meet this or next week, considering that parliament will probably not be working on Friday, which is St. Nicholas Day. Budget and no-confidence motion at next session The speaker also said that most of MPs are aware that they must intensively until the end of the year in order to adopt the 2009 budget draft. She expects an agreement will be reached with all parties in order for the parliament to work as effectively as possible. Djukic-Dejanovic said that the motion for a government no-confidence vote will be scheduled for the same session as the budget debate. “We have to complete items. They are the no-confidence motion and the budget. They are intertwined and MPs will decide on their order. I have to place the no-confidence motion as the first point on the agenda, but that debate will last a day or two at the most,” she said.
