Serbia gets new EBRD representative

The European Bank for Development and Reconstruction (EBDR) has appointed Hildegard Gacek as new Serbian office director.

The European Bank for Development and Reconstruction (EBDR) has appointed Hildegard Gacek as new Serbian office director. A statement from the EBRD says that Gacek has 25 years worth of experience working in international banking, having also spent the previous five years as office director in Romania. Serbia gets new EBRD representative Hildegard Gacek holds an MSc in International Trade and Business Administration and is fluent in German, English and French. Before joining the EDRB, Gacek worked for DEG and UBS, in Zurich, Switzerland. Dragica Pilipovic-Chaffey, the outgoing director, has been appointed to the same position at EBRD's Poland and the Baltic countries office. The bank has to date invested over EUR 1.2bn in 73 infrastructure, financial sector and small and medium enterprises projects.

Hildegard Gacek holds an MSc in International Trade and Business Administration and is fluent in German, English and French. Before joining the EDRB, Gacek worked for DEG and UBS, in Zurich, Switzerland.

Dragica Pilipović-Chaffey, the outgoing director, has been appointed to the same position at EBRD's Poland and the Baltic countries office.

The bank has to date invested over EUR 1.2bn in 73 infrastructure, financial sector and small and medium enterprises projects.
