Police in west solve grisly murder case
The police (MUP) in the town of Šabac, western Serbia, arrested a 26-year-old man on suspicion that he killed and then dismembered the body of his father.

The police (MUP) in the town of Sabac, western Serbia, arrested a 26-year-old man on suspicion that he killed and then dismembered the body of his father. The suspect is believed to have killed his father on February 28, after an altercation, and using "a sharp object", the police have said. According to media reports, the suspect confessed to the murder and said that he afterwards cut up the body of his father, placed it in two bags and a sack, to dump them in the lake. The police said that the murderer "separated the arms and legs from the body and transported them to the lake in a passenger vehicle".
