Two EULEX vehicles were "torched on purpose" in Pristina on Tuesday, Albanian language newspapers write today. The cars were destroyed after explosives were planted and activated in one of them, according to reports. EULEX cars "set on fire with explosives" Zeri newspaper quotes witnesses and writes that the incident happened in the early morning hours, when windows were smashed on one car, enabling perpetrators to place explosives inside. According to this, three persons were seen activating the device, and then leaving the scene "in an unknown direction". The blast caused panic among the neighborhood's residents, while police and firefighters soon arrived at the scene. Both Kosovo police (KPS), and the EU mission in Kosovo (EULEX) said on Tuesday that the cause of the fire that destroyed the vehicles was "unknown".
