Prosecutor to attend start of Kepiro trial
War Crimes Prosecutor Vladimir Vukčević will attend the start of the trial of <a href="http://www.b92.net/eng/news/region-article.php?yyyy=2011&mm=05&dd=02&nav_id=74111" class="text-link" target= "_blank">WW2 Hungarian police captain Sandor Kepiro</a>, set to begin in Budapest tomorrow.

War Crimes Prosecutor Vladimir Vukcevic will attend the start of the trial of WW2 Hungarian police captain Sandor Kepiro, set to begin in Budapest tomorrow. The 96 year-old is being put on trial for crimes he allegedly committed in Serbia against Serbs, Jews and Roma in while Hungary's fascist forces occupied the north of the country. Prosecutor to attend start of Kepiro trial Director of the Simon Wiesenthal Centre office in Jerusalem Efraim Zuroff will also be present, as well as representatives of the Novi Sad Jewish community. The Office of the War Crimes Prosecutor worked together with Zuroff to file a request in 2008 for an investigation against Kepiro on suspicion of genocide.
