The money was paid to the account by donors, who believed that it would be spent on education and programs for prevention of breast cancer. Rebraca, Bogunovic and Mironija have been held in prison since their arrest on April 7. Rebraca addressed the court today to deny any wrongdoing, and said that the money collected by the fund in fact went toward breast cancer prevention. "My image has contributed to the work of the fund, not the Ministry of Health logo or that of the Institute of Oncology," Rebraca said, adding that she did have a debit card to pay for her "gasoline, equipment and fund expenses", but that she never abused that for her personal needs. Rebraca rejected the indictment which accused her of spending the fund money on clothes, jewelry and plane tickets, as well as the charge that her associates gave her the fund cash for this purpose.
