Serbian police (MUP) in Novi Pazar, Prijepolje and Kraljevo announced that they cut an international heroin trafficking route. The MUP officers in this area on Sunday arrested three persons and confiscated "around three kilograms and 150 grams of a substance suspected to be heroin". Police "cut intl. heroin smuggling route" Those arrested were identified as Dragica Stepanovic, 20, of Barajevo, near Belgrade, and Senad Fakovic, 21 and Sadik Lekpek, 43, both of Novi Pazar, in southwestern Serbia. Those arrested were identified as Dragica Stepanović, 20, of Barajevo, near Belgrade, and Senad Faković, 21 and Sadik Lekpek, 43, both of Novi Pazar, in southwestern Serbia.

The three suspects were on their way back from Sarajevo, in Bosnia, when they were arrested.
