Vukčević happy with Brussels conference

War Crimes Prosecutor Vladimir Vukcevic attended a two-day conference of war crimes prosecutors from the territory of the former Yugoslavia. The event ended in Brussels on Friday. Vukcevic happy with Brussels conference "The conference was very successful. Concrete forms of cooperation have been agreed with our regional counterparts," Vukcevic told Tanjug. The conference, organized by the Hague Tribunal prosecutor's office, aims to boost regional cooperation with regards investigations and criminal prosecution. A protocol on the training of the regional prosecutors was signed and will be sent to the Hague. Hague Tribunal Chief Prosecutor Serge Brammertz told the opening ceremony that it is important that the valuable materials from the investigations are realized before the local judicial organs in keeping with the transition strategy of the Hague Tribunal.
