The Serbian dinar (RSD) is down by three paras on Monday, dropping to an official middle exchange rate of RSD 112.2710 for one euro (EUR). Since the beginning of 2012, the central bank (NBS) sold a total of EUR 763.5 million on the interbank foreign exchange market so as to ensure smooth running of the foreign exchange market. The dinar is 0.6 percent down on this time last month, and 11.4 percent down on the year. On Friday, the indicative dinar-versus-dollar exchange rate was at RSD 86.7762, recording no change from the day before, the NBS announced. This year, the dinar hit its highest level against the single European currency on January 11 with the exchange rate at RSD 103.6922.

The dinar is 0.6 percent down on this time last month, and 11.4 percent down on the year.

On Friday, the indicative dinar-versus-dollar exchange rate was at RSD 86.7762, recording no change from the day before, the NBS announced.

The dinar weakened against the U.S. dollar by 2.2 percent when compared to the level a month ago, and by 19.4 percent if compared to a year ago.
