Srbijagas Director Dusan Bajatovic said that gas prices in Serbia need to increase by 20 percent. He told daily Blic that the demand for price hikes is ready and that a political agreement is needed in order to implement the plan. Srbijagas CEO: Prices must increase “Everything is ready for submitting the proposal to the Energy Agency. I cannot say when it will happen because there are political consultations going on currently about how the increase in prices will affect the economic situation in the country,” Bajatovic said. The Energy Ministry told Blic that it has not received an official demand from Srbijagas and that it is hard to say when the prices could increase, because the procedure for doing so is a long one.
