Serbia's public debt totaled EUR 10.8bn, or 32.7 percent of the GDP, at the end of June, the Finance Ministry announced. The debt totaled EUR 9.85bn at the end of last year, meaning that it rose by EUR 952.7mn in the first six months of 2010, the ministry said. Public debt reaches EUR 10.8bn The debt was EUR 10.54bn at the end of May. The figure increased by EUR 260mn in June. Serbia's total direct liabilities amounted to EUR 9.21bn at the end of June, with an internal debt of EUR 4.14bn and a foreign debt of EUR 5.07bn. Contingent liabilities totaled EUR 1.59bn at the end of last month. At the end of 2008, Serbia's public debt was EUR 8.78bn, or 25.6 percent of the GDP.

The debt was EUR 10.54bn at the end of May. The figure increased by EUR 260mn in June.

Serbia's total direct liabilities amounted to EUR 9.21bn at the end of June, with an internal debt of EUR 4.14bn and a foreign debt of EUR 5.07bn.

Contingent liabilities totaled EUR 1.59bn at the end of last month.

At the end of 2008, Serbia's public debt was EUR 8.78bn, or 25.6 percent of the GDP.
