Talks on Banatski Dvor under way Prior to signing, the government first needs to give its approval to the Banatski Dvor contract. As earlier agreed, the company will be split 51-49 percent in Gazprom’s favor. Srbijagas CEO Dusan Bajatovic said that the agreement would be signed by Srbijagas, Gazprom and Gazprom’s daughter company in Austria. The signing will be the signal to begin immediate siphoning of Gazprom gas into Banatski Dvor, said Bajatovic earlier, as well as into storage facilities in Hungary for Serbian use, provided an agreement is reached with the E.ON and MOL companies. Banatski Dvor's final capacity will be between 800 million and one billion cubics of gas by the end of the project. The Banatski Dvor storage facility is being built as part of the continued exploitation of a now empty gas field whose capacity was 3.3 billion cubics of natural gas. The facility covers a total surface area of 54 km². It is located 22 km east of Zrenjanin and 44 km from the main gas pipeline intersection in Gospodjinci.
